Keeping your skill level to a certain level can be done by different things. One of those is going to play a lot of events, another one is doing some target shooting and pushing yourself to the limit.
I have been missing this so I decided to do it again myself. I rented Bockaby, because this is a perfect location to do this. Invited people and created some stages. It was a good and fun day.
Organising this event had multiple angles. I wanted to test if people that are new to airsoft, can use this as a first touch with what we do. Get them familiar with the rifles and pistols we use, in a safe environment. The second one was to see how 'normal' airsofters respond to this and if they are afraid to show how bad of a shot they actually are or if they want to up their skill and learn from their mistakes. The third reason was to have a casual day with some more social interactions between players.
All those things got tested and I have interesting results to work on the next one. Yes, there will be a next event for sure.
