Bellum 2025 is over and what an interesting game it was.
Let's start off with the bad news, the coming video will be a short one because my gopro died on the first day. Which means that all the awesomeness will be forever in my mind and stories will be told around the campfire on coming events.
This year I was a Squad leader instead of leading a bigger unit and the squad did an amazing job. I had a squad of 16 people which meant that I always had around 12 people around me in the field. The fire-team leaders did an amazing job and made this game, for me, a really good one. I did miss that bit when leading bigger units.
Our unit was mostly thrown at all kinds of different things with a focus on domination boxes and keeping the enemy in a place so they are not somewhere else. The fights were good and we were mostly out numbered and still the squad kept coming back for more.
The weather was interesting and a lot of people were not prepared for the rain. It was a challenge but we managed to push through that, just a bit wetter than usual.
I have my highlights, running around people and taking them in the rear, being a pain in the ass by pushing buttons on the last minutes, being everywhere on the map as much as possible, being overrun by good playing enemies and much much more.
The fights were hard and fair and after each fight both teams congratulated the other for doing a good job. When needed, apologies were given in the most respectful way.
This year Legion was stronger which brings the score to a 3/3. Next year we'll break the tie again in our favor. Congrats to all Legion players!
Crew did a good job bringing another good game and I can't wait for next year to be back and battle it out.
(Thank you Badger for taking a picture of me with the killcard)
