Yesterday I was again present at Frysen Airsoft to host the game.
It was another chilly but good day with lots of laughter in the teams.
A Sunday (or Saturday) game is a moment in the week where people can come in and take a break from the week. My goals is to give every player that break in the best way possible. While some people come in to just shoot, others want to play some missions and there are people that just want to have fun.
During the day I adjust my missions to how I feel the group. I change my games instead of following a strict schedule, I adjust my timings when needed and listen to the feedback of the players.
Because of that, the overal vibe on the field is good and no many complaints come in. Which makes me happy as an organiser.
While things are hectic, like it was yesterday, I do forget some things and I learned to make sure that everyone knows the mission and can execute it the correct way. Lessons learned and already working on solutions to make sure that problem gets fixed for next week.
Again, Ares Alpha props with lights and colors worked perfectly to attract the attention from the players. I also mounted emergency lights in the darkest doorways to avoid people hiding, which was very effective.
See you next week!
